Tony Caridi time: Faithful fans of West Virginia University football can come out next week to hear longtime Mountaineer play-by-play announcer Tony Caridi share insights at a Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle fundraiser.
The fourth-annual “Inside The Huddle” begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Holiday Inn, Martinsburg. It’s put on by the Eastern Panhandle chapter of WVU Alumni and the Mountaineer Fan Club.
Besides time with Caridi, the night also includes tailgate food, beverages, a silent auction of WVU items and more. Tickets cost $40. A cash bar also will be offered.
“It’s an opportunity to hear about the 2013 football season while supporting a good cause,” said Gail Shade, the event’s chairwoman, “a win-win for all.”
For tickets or details, call the Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle at 304-263-1832.
