Vendors needed: Vendors are needed for the Jefferson County Council on Aging yard sale/car wash happening from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. August 10. Tables are one/$15 or two/$25. Contact Chasidy Rosa Morales at 304-725-4045 to register..

Free programs: Storied evenings of music, art and tales are presented at the historic Shepherdstown Presbyterian Meeting House. Volunteers needed: Hospice of the Panhandle is looking for those who are willing to give of their time to make a difference in the lives of others. New volunteer training is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 9, 16 and 23 in the main office of Hospice of the Panhandle in Martinsburg. Classmates sought: The Jefferson High School Class of 1993 hosts a 20-year high school reunion July 13. There will be two events planned — a family cookout during the day and an evening dinner event that night. For more information about the reunion, email jhsclass1993@gmail.com.

Group seeks new members: The Gardeners Exchange Group is an informal network of area avid gardeners. GEG members share information, resources, expertise, labor, plants, and experiences through monthly meetings, garden visits, and special events.
