Rummage sale: Shannondale Springs Chapel hosts a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Asbury Methodist Church in Charles Town.

Barbecue benefit: The annual Camp Frame 4-H chicken barbecue happens from 3 until 7 p.m. Saturday in the dining hall at Camp Frame 4-H Camp, three miles west of Hedgesville. Chicken barbecued by the South Jefferson Ruritan along with baked beans, cole slaw, bread and cakes. Cost is $8 for adults or $4 for children 12 and under. Carryout orders will be available.

Dinner: Knights of Pythias hosts a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the lodge hall, 105 E. Sixth Ave., Ranson. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for ages 6 to 12, free for 5 and under. Carryout available.

Plant sale: The Tuscawilla-Locust Hills Garden Club hosts its annual plant and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on the soccer field near the entrance to W.Va. 51.
