CHARLES TOWN – Jefferson County’s two high schools will hold orientation sessions for freshmen and their parents starting in mid-August.
Students’ first day for the 2014-15 school year comes Aug. 18.
At Washington, students whose last names start with letters A to K should plan to attend the program that begins at 6 p.m. Aug. 13 in the auditorium.
Washington’s session for other freshmen begins at 6 p.m. Aug. 14, also in the auditorium. Those who attend are asked to enter the building through the event doors located directly across from the stadium ticket booth.
