Committee to seek new WVU Parkersburg president

PARKERSBURG (AP) — A search committee will be created to seek a new president for West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

The Parkersburg News and Sentinel reports that the school’s Board of Governors announced Wednesday evening that it will form a search committee.

Board chairman Gerard El Chaar says the committee will have up to 19 members, including the board’s 12 members.

Rhonda Tracy was appointed as interim president after former President Marie Foster Gnage left in June to become a regional president for Florida State College in Jacksonville.
