West Virginia woman accused of marijuana sale in school

PRINCETON (AP) — State Police say a woman has been arrested after she allegedly went into a Mercer County high school bathroom and sold marijuana to a 15-year-old student.

Trooper J.A. Cook in Princeton tells the Bluefield Daily Telegraph that 23-year-old Caila Marie Finley of Princeton is a former PikeView High student who was arrested Thursday.

Cook says school officials contacted State Police after being tipped off to the alleged sale, which occurred March 12.

Cook says Finley is charged with delivery of a controlled substance, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and distribution by a person 18 or over in or on school property.

Finley was arraigned before a magistrate and remained held Friday in the Southern Regional Jail in Beaver. Jail records didn’t indicate whether she has an attorney.
