Art and history fans can view a special exhibit of watercolors by the late Garnet Jex, “Upper Potomac in the Civil War,” from 10 a.m. to noon at Town Hall in Sharpsburg, Md.

Civil War depictions painted by Garnet Jex, the Washington, D.C. artist who died in 1979, will be on display in Sharpsburg, Md., Saturday.

The free exhibit is sponsored by the C&O Canal Association and the Sharpsburg Historical Society.Prints of Jex’s work will be for sale.

Photography exhibit | through March 15

Photographer Frank Robbins’ “Déjà Vu All Over Again” retrospective continues in the Arts and Humanities Alliance’s Fire Hall Gallery at 108 N. George St. in Charles Town.

Robbins, who founded the Jefferson County Photo Club in 2008, has had his work published in The Washington Post and other publications over the last 30 years.

The free exhibit may be seen during the gallery’s regular hours from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. To know more, call the gallery at 304-724-2090 or go online to ahajc.org.
