Art and history fans can view a special exhibit of watercolors by the late Garnet Jex, “Upper Potomac in the Civil War,” from 10 a.m. to noon at Town Hall in Sharpsburg, Md.
The free exhibit is sponsored by the C&O Canal Association and the Sharpsburg Historical Society.Prints of Jex’s work will be for sale.

Photographer Frank Robbins’ “Déjà Vu All Over Again” retrospective continues in the Arts and Humanities Alliance’s Fire Hall Gallery at 108 N. George St. in Charles Town.
Robbins, who founded the Jefferson County Photo Club in 2008, has had his work published in The Washington Post and other publications over the last 30 years.
