WINCHESTER, Va. – Farmers and others with rural businesses may sign up for next month’s Forum for Rural Innovation conference through March 7.
It’s the 10th year for daylong event, which begins at 8:15 a.m. March 14 at the Best Western Lee-Jackson Motor Inn & Conference Center in Winchester.
Officials from the Small Business Development Center of the Eastern Panhandle help organize the forum, along with economic development and agriculture officials in Loudoun, Fauquier and Clarke counties in Virginia and in Jefferson and Berkeley counties as well as leaders from the Town of Berryville, Va.
Tickets for the forum cost $40 and include morning refreshments and a buffet lunch.
The day’s program includes presentations and exhibitions on conservation models as well as projects that can add profit to farms and other rural businesses.
