Ponytail no more

West Virginia University Mountaineer mascot Jonathan Kimble takes a pair of scissors to WVU lineman Pat Eger’s ponytail Sunday after Eger agreed to donate his hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, which provides wigs for cancer patients. Eger said it took him about three years to grow the ponytail that Kimble cut off in about three seconds. Man’s Image hair stylist Seth Gartin then spent about 30 minutes completing the new short hair style for Eger. Eger said he has spent much time with young cancer patients at WVU Children’s Hospital. “When you see what they are going through, it just seems like a great way to give back,” he said.
