Moving on up

Regina Kerrigan and her mother Dorothy Dyke will close Billie’s next month as they move the restaurant to a new location at 809 N. Mildred St. in Ranson. Dyke’s mother, the late Billie Milburn, established the eatery at its current location at 309 S. Mildred St. in 1969.

  1. Like losing a old friend,will no longer be able to walk to breakfast or dinner.Won’t feel as safe at new location so probally won’t drive out.A real loss for the neighborhood.

  2. I feel this is the end for Billies. I feel the move will dramaticly hurt their business… I hope I am wrong but it just wont be the same.

    I think this is wonderful! Like all things, sometimes we need a change to improve. I’m sure Gina will do a lovely job honoring her grandmother’s legacy, while adding some modern touches. It’s wonderful they are able to keep it in the family. Best of luck!
