Flower show: Entries for the Jefferson County Fair Flower Show will be taken from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Building 5. The theme this year is “Touring the British Isles.”

Designers may use their skills to interpret the following classes: England, Channel Islands, Scotland and Wales.

The cost per person is $12 and 20 percent of all admission fees will be donated to assist the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County. No reservations are required. The event will feature all-you-can-eat crabs, shrimp and chicken for $40 per adult, $20 for kids under 10, and free for ages 3 and under.
