Tsunami 12U wins Virginia state title

The Summit Point Tsunami 12U softball team recently won the Virginia Babe Ruth softball state championship in a tourney played in Stafford, Va. The local team advances to a Regional in Virginia to be played on July 18-21 in Glen Allen. Taylor Cenate pitched a complete-game shutout in the championship game where the Tsunami won, 2-0.
