FFA champs

The Wildwood Middle School FFA Chapter composed of team members (from left) Alex Owens, Adam Chandler, Earl Hamby, and Nick Chapman received first place in the 7th- and 8th-grade Agri-science Knowledge competition at West Virginia University on June 19. The contest required students to identify and animals, agricultural mechanics tools, and to take an examination on FFA History and Knowledge. Individually, Owens placed 12th in the competiton, Chapman placed fourth, Chandler placed second and Hamby, who was also recognized for having the top score in the FFA Knowledge portion of the competition, took first place. The team was trained by adviser, Charity Marstiller.
