Rummage sale: The Briggs Animal Adoption Center in Charles Town will hold a yard sale Friday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

New minister: Bolivar United Methodist Church announces the appointment of Pastor John Unger II as the new minister. His first service will start at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

 

Revival: A revival featuring apostle Ralph L. Edwards starts Monday, with services at 7 p.m. through July 13 at Apple Tree Garden Apartments in Ranson.

Blood donations: Blood donors are needed at Zion Episcopal Church in Charles Town from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., July 13. Sign up online at redcrossblood.org.

 

Hike: Hikers of all ages are invited to join a hiking trip in the Shenandoah National Park at 4 p.m., July 13. The hike is sponsored by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society. No pre-registration is required. There will be no fee for the hikes but the National Park Service will charge a $15-per-vehicle fee to enter the park.
