Signing of Dibo gives WVU six new players for 2013

MORGANTOWN — Remi Dibo, a 6-foot-9 junior college forward from Casper College in Wyoming, has become WVU coach Bob Huggins’ sixth recruit for the 2013-14 season.

The junior college player was born in the Ivory Coast and played his final high school season at Mountain State Academy in Beckley, a school that is no longer in existence. He averaged 18 points and five rebounds a game as a sophomore at Casper and 13 points and four rebounds a game as a freshman.

Dibo should be eligible for the 2013-14 season. He sat out the 2010-11 season as a redshirt at Casper.

Dibo joins 6-foot-8 Jonathan Holton, 6-foot-7 Nathan Adrian, 6-foot-8 Delvin Williams, 6-foot-10 Brandon Watkins and 6-foot-8 Elijah Macon in Huggins’ six-man recruiting class for the 2013-14 season.
