Jefferson boys trim Gaels, Eagles and Applemen

By winning the three doubles matches, Jefferson was able to trim Hedgesville, 5-2, in boys tennis. The Cougars had the doubles victories from Devin Forman/Isaac Washington at No. 1, Kaleb Lochner/Drew Polczynski at No. 2 and Noah French/Christian Shimer at No. 3.
The teams split the four singles matches with Jefferson getting wins from Forman at No. 1 and Washington at No. 2.
In mid-week, Jefferson defeated Musselman.
On Monday, the Cougars trimmed St. Maria Goretti, 4-3, with Lochner defeating Simon Wrobleski, 8-5, and Shimer stopping Ozair Waseem, 8-3. In doubles, Lochner/Polczynski beat Wrobleski/Forest Butterbaugh, 8-2, and the team winner/loser turned when the Gaels, now 1-11 overall, had to forfeit at No. 3.
