Growth industry

The Charles Town Farmers Market on the 100 block of South Samuel Street offers up locally grown foods and other goods – everything from locally roasted Black Dog Coffee and locally raised beef to just-made breads, salsa, honey, pies, handcrafted soaps, even herb plants to grow at home. Farmers markets also are busy these days in Shepherdstown. Saturday mornings, crowds turn out at Morgan’s Grove along W.Va. 480 and on Sundays, the market behind the Shepherdstown Public Library is a fond tradition.
