MYRTLE BEACH — Shepherd softball is now 7-13 overall after playing six games in either Myrtle Beach or the Salem Invitational.
The Lady Rams defeated Arcadia, 12-2, as Savannah Snyder had three hits and Jess Mason, Carly Schmidt, and Tayler Schaefer had two hits. Shannon Lyons was the winning pitcher.
A 9-0 Shepherd win over Ohio Valley saw Shanan Plunkett and Mason get two hits and Snyder homer. Tiffany Biggs was the winning pitcher.
Mercyhurst defeated Shepherd, 10-8, even though Schaefer homered. Kass Taylor, Bianca Biondillo, Schaefer, and Snyder all had two hits. Lyons took the loss.
Kutztown beat the Lady Rams, 10-2, in a five-inning game. Biggs took the loss. Snyder had two hits.
Shepherd also defeated Millersville, 6-1, and lost a 6-1 verdict to Lock Haven.
