Ranson road closure announced
Ranson — The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) announced that East Fifth Avenue will be closed between Flowing Springs Road and W.Va. 9 beginning March 14. The closure will be in place 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
This is necessary for the WVDOH to construct a new roundabout intersection for the Charles Town Race Track Access Road and for realignment of the existing section of Fifth Avenue.
Work is anticipated to last into late June.
