Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, the North Berkeley Public Library offers a 2 p.m. workshop called, “Tracing Your Irish Roots.” Jane Sullivan will offer an overview of Irish history as it relates to genealogy along with tips on using print and online sources to discover Irish ancestors. The library is located at 1255 TJ Jackson Drive in Falling Waters, just off Interstate 81.

Monday

Classes at Shepherd University resume after spring break.

Monday and Tuesday

Biologists from the Division of National Resources will answer questions from deer hunters, anglers and others with problems or concerns. The forum happens from 6 to 8 p.m. at James Rumsey Technical Institute in Hedgesville.
