Washington girls close with victory
The Washington girls basketball team defeated visiting Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy, 41-27, Thursday on the Patriots’ floor. Washington had a 12-10 overall record to take into the Class AAA, Region II, Section 1 tournament tonight against Martinsburg in Berkeley County. Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy finished with a 17-3 overall record with a schedule that included two public schools — Washington and Berkeley Springs.
