Washington closed out its regular season with an 88-60 win on its home floor against Jefferson. The Patriots took an 18-4 record and the second-seed to the Section 1 tournament. Jefferson finished the regular season at 4-18.

The Patriots were winning for the eighth straight time and Jefferson was losing its seventh straight game.

Washington had an earlier win over the Cougars using a pressure defense and a large rebounding advantage. It implemented the same strategy and the same rebounding edge a second time.

For the Patriots, Dominique Newman scored 19 points, Kendell Smith 18, Jerome Jones 11, Christian Coles 11, and Maleke Jones 11.
