Jones leads Washington cruise by Silver Oak
With Jerome Jones notching a season-high 27 points and claiming 10 rebounds, Washington cruised past Silver Oak Academy from Keymar, Md., 73-52, last Wednesday.
The homestanding Patriots improved to 12-4 overall with the comfortable victory over the Rams.
Dominique Newman was able to score another 12 points for the Patriots. Malik Jones added 11 points to Washington point total.
Silver Oak’s Eric Small scored more than half of the Rams’ points when he totaled 33 points.
Washington dominated the boards. The Patriots caused numerous first-half turnovers and Silver Oak could never recover.
