Lady Cougars fall in holiday tournament
The second day of the event was cancelled because of inclement weather on Saturday.
Jefferson fell behind early to the Campers, who were 5-2 overall with the win. Allegany had already claimed an 18-6 lead after one quarter. The lead had gone to 33-10 by halftime.
Allegany emptied its bench for much of the second half as did the Lady Cougars.
Neither team did well from the foul line where Jefferson was 14-for-32 and the Campers were 10-for-23.
Courtney Landis scored 19 points and Kailee Selders had nine points for Allegany. Liza Silver had 14 points and Marissa Jones scored 12 points for Jefferson.
