Jefferson County residents may drop off theirs for free at the Jefferson County Solid Waste Authority transfer station in Kearneysville during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, call the authority at 304-728-0430. Another option, for Apple Valley Waste customers, is to pay $10 for a tree pickup. To schedule one through Jan. 25, customers should call 877-267-1280.
