‘Envision Jefferson’ volunteers sought
CHARLES TOWN – The Jefferson County Commission has opted to add two new members to the steering committee for Envision Jefferson 2035, which will help to produce a new Comprehensive Plan to guide future development.
Commission members cited the election of Commissioner Jane Tabb as the motivation for seeking new applicants. The commission is seeking applicants of all racial and ethnic groups, as well as individuals who own large tracts of land in the county.
