Cougars return to pool with four wins in duals

SHEPHERDSTOWN — Jefferson had boys swim wins over Musselman (52-42) and Hedgesville (73-21) and girls swim wins over Musselman (79-14) and Hedgesville (66-28) on Saturday at Shepherd University.

Jefferson’s Keegan Simmons had individual wins in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle. Henry deBuchananne won both the 100 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley. Bailey Pitcher won the 100 backstroke and Weston Goddell took first in the 200 freestyle. The Cougars won two of the three relays.

Jefferson’s Luisa Holland had individual wins in the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle. Emma Alquist won the 100 breaststroke, Kaley Hoffman the 100 butterfly, and Destiny Hoffman the 200 individual medley for the Lady Cougars, who posted wins in all three relays.
