Shepherd softball signs Witt, four others
The Shepherd softball team has signed five players for the 2014 season, including Jefferson High pitcher/infielder Alexandra Witt. The JHS senior batted .474 in 2012 and had a 13-9 record as a pitcher.
The other four Shepherd signees are Cedar Cliff (Pa.) outfielder/infielder Rubie Teffeteller, Bel Air (Md.) High infielder Jennifer Schofield, East Palestine (Ohio) pitcher/outfielder Karlyle Pence, and Stone Bridge (Va.) High infielder/outfielder Courtney Gibson.
All five players will be 2013 high school graduates and enter Shepherd for the 2013-14 school year.
