Pats misfire from foul line

WINCHESTER, Va. — Handley was able to reverse its loud loss to Washington by defeating the Patriots, 87-86, on Friday in an offensive-minded boys basketball game that saw Washington miss 22 free throws in losing for the first time this season.

Handley had lost an 81-55 decision to Washington in a Jefferson County game.

Keldon Bell had by far his best scoring game of the season in notching 29 points. Dominique Newman totaled another 21 points for the Patriots, now 3-1 overall.
