Compliance checkpoint planned for Thursday
The Charles Town City Police will be conducting a safety compliance checkpoint in the 14000 block of Charles Town Road on Thursday. The checkpoint will begin at 2 p.m. and conclude at 5 p.m.
Motorists choosing to avoid the checkpoint may use Cattail Run Road to the new state Route 9 interchange as an alternate route when traveling westbound and U.S. Route 340 north to the new state Route 9 interchange when traveling eastbound.
