Washington takes five-school golf match
MARTINSBURG — With both Ryan Mumaw and Robert Fleming carding nine-hole rounds of 38 at the Stonebridge Golf Club last Tuesday, Washington High won a five-school match by 13 strokes.
Washington had a team score of 158 while runner-up Hedgesville finished with a team score of 171. Freshman Owen Elliott fired a team-best 39 for the Eagles. The other three team scored found Berkeley Springs (199) in third, Musselman (204) in fourth, and Martinsburg (229) in fifth place.
