Shepherd students plan trip to Italy

SHEPHERDSTOWN – A public meeting to discuss an upcoming trip of a Shepherd University group to Italy, where they will explore sites alluded to in the works of Shakespeare, will be held on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. in Knutti Hall, room 205.

The group plans to visit several Italian cities, including Verona, Venice, Florence, Padua and Rome. They will discuss the locations’ roles in several of Shakespeare’s plays, including “Othello,” “The Merchant of Venice” and “Julius Caesar.”
