CHARLESTON – Members of a West Virginia small business association have endorsed Republican Jim Ruland in the West Virginia 16th District Senate race.
The endorsement was made by West Virginia Save America’s Free Enterprise Trust, which is made up exclusively of members of the D.C.-based National Federation of Independent Business.
Said Gil White, state director of NFIB/West Virginia: “Jim Ruland understands the challenges facing West Virginia’s small, family businesses and is the clear choice in this important Eastern Panhandle race.”
Ruland, who is running against incumbent Herb Snyder, is a former Jefferson County Commission member and a retired business owner.
A Navy veteran, he has lived in the county since 1992.
