Musselman too strong for Cougars
SHENANDOAH JUNCTION — Once-beaten Musselman defeated host Jeffertson, 3-0, in a volleyball match played last Tuesday. The three game scores were 25-4, 25-8, and 25-11.
The Lady Applemen improved their overall record to 12-1 while the Lady Cougars were 1-5 overall. Musselman is unbeaten against all area opposition.
Musselman’s Corisha Smith dominated the first two games of the match with her serving. Smith scored 13 straight points in the first game and then served well enough to score 10 consecutive points in Game Two.
