Hero’s welcome

Tyler Wilt, the talented Washington High quarterback diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, spent time Sunday at the New York Jets’ home opener with quarterback Tim Tebow. The visit came thanks to a teammate of Tyler’s who contacted the Florida-based Tim Tebo Foundation, which gives young people facing life-threatening illnesses the star treatment at one of Tebo’s NFL games. Tyler, who made the trip to New Jersey with his family, also came away with Tebo’s autograph – not on a football or jersey, but right on his surgical scar.
