Five goals enough for Jefferson girls soccer
SHENANDOAH JUNCTION — Jefferson was able to find its way through the Musselman girls soccer defense often enough to score five goals en route to a 5-2 win over the visiting Lady Applemen last Tuesday.
Jefferson jumped its overall record to 5-3-0 and snapped a two-match losing streak in the process. The Lady Cougars dismissed shutout losses to Mercersburg Academy and Morgantown and outshot and outscored the Lady Applemen.
