Jefferson yearbooks: Students at Jefferson High School may pick up 2011-12 yearbooks during their lunch period or daily until 4 p.m. through Friday. Those who attended Jefferson last year may pick up their books daily anytime through 4 p.m. Friday. Students must have photo IDs, school officials say. Historic preservation: Join the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia during its statewide historic preservation conference Thursday through Saturday, and learn from the tradition of historic preservation throughout Jefferson County. Volunteers needed: Fundraiser volunteers are needed for next month’s 19th annual Haunted Fairgrounds. Tree donations: Shepherdstown’s 250th Anniversary Committee is encouraging residents to celebrate the anniversary by donating trees to the town’s historic Elmwood Cemetery this fall.
