Blood drive: Mountain Community Center will be hosting an American Red Cross blood drive on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. To be eligible to donate, you must be 17 years of age, meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and be in reasonably good health. RESA 8 offering firefighter course: RESA 8 will offer a 120 hour Firefighter 1 course starting Sept. 15 at 9 a.m. at the Friendship Fire Company in Harpers Ferry.
