When Bradley May got his first haircut ever last week, he left the Hair Cuttery in Ranson with more than just a stylish new look – he also had the satisfaction of knowing his ponytail would be donated to Locks of Love, the Florida-based nonprofit that provides hairpieces for in-need youngsters. “He felt good that his hair will help a child who’s been sick and needs a wig,” explains his mother, Deb May. The boy’s grandmother Janet Cottrell and 8-year-old brother Ethan came along to lend support as stylist Amber Ainsworth made the first cut. The family lives in Shannondale.
