Farm bureau awards scholarship

The Jefferson County Farm Bureau and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce annual picnic was held on Aug. 8. The Jefferson County Farm Bureau’s annual $1,000 scholarship was awarded to Washington High School Mahar Khan. He was also awarded the Promise scholarship and the Rhodedendron scholarship. His plans are to purse a master’s degree in business administration.
