BreAnn Alise Diehl and Trevor Wayne Berry were united in marriage at 3 p.m. on April 28, 2012. Pastor Rudolph Bropleh performed the double-ring ceremony at Asbury United Methodist Church in Shepherdstown. The bride is the daughter of David and Gina Diehl of Charles Town. The groom is the son of Susan Berry of Shepherdstown and the late Keith Timothy Berry.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents the bride wore an ivory strapless mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline and Swarovski crystal appliqués. She carried a bouquet of white tulips, daisies and roses.
The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Andrea Orndorff, and bridesmaids were, Katie Stottlemyer, Alisha Berry, Erika Berry, sisters of the groom and Veronica Fields. They carried bouquets of red roses, red Hypericum berries and red tulips adorned with greens and grasses.
Amiyah Berry, daughter of the bride and groom, was the flower girl. She wore an ivory gown that featured a full skirt with soft pick-ups. Her dress was accented with an apple red ribbon at her waist with flowers highlighted by Swarovski crystals.
The best man was William “Will” Shepherd and groomsmen were, Joseph “JoJo” Carr, Cody Diehl, brother of the bride, Travis Green, cousin of the groom, and Jonathan Ross. Justin Grantham, Jonathan Hash and Matt Tiano served as ushers. Derrion Jones, nephew of the groom, and Kyrie Timothy Berry, son of the bride and groom, served as the ring bearers. The groom and groomsmen all wore black tuxedos.
The dinner dance reception was held at the Shepherdstown Fire Hall. The bride and groom and the bride’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at King’s restaurant in Inwood the evening prior to the wedding.
The bride and groom are both 2007 Jefferson High graduates. The new Mrs. Berry is a 2010 magna cum laude graduate of Mountain State University where she earned her bachelor’s of science degree in business administration with a concentration in human resource management. She recently earned her master’s degree from American Public University in human resource management. She is employed with Bechtel National Inc. in Frederick, Md as a human resources representative and recruiter. Berry earned certification from James Rumsey Technical Institute in HVAC and refrigeration. He is employed with Loudoun County (Va.) Public School as a preventative maintenance technician.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
