‘Historic’
Shari Jordan, who lives on First Avenue in Charles Town, saw her neighbor’s pickup truck crushed in the June 29 storm. As strong winds blew through the area, she said she was “literally praying” that the 88-year-old pecan tree in her backyard didn’t fall onto her home.
