Stauffer’s Marsh birding trip: The Potomac Valley Audubon Society will sponsor a birding trip to its Stauffer’s Marsh Nature Preserve in Berkeley County on Saturday. Children’s asthma camp: Camp Catch Your Breath will hold a week-long camp July 22 to 27 for children ages 8 to 13 who suffer from asthma. The camp will be held at Jackson’s Mill 4-H Camp. Delaware shore birding trip: The Potomac Valley Audubon Society is sponsoring a birding trip along the Delaware shore Aug. 3 through 5. Anyone with an interest is welcome to participate, including children. There is no fee but participants will have to cover their own travel expenses and make their own room reservations. Participants should plan to wear comfortable walking or hiking boots; bring along bug spray to ward off ticks, mosquitoes and gnats; and bring water and, as necessary, a hat, sunscreen or rain gear.
