BREAKING NEWS: To all water customers of the Charles Town Utility Board

To all water customers of the Charles Town Utility Board:

The Charles Town water system is NOT under a boil water advisory.  Though power was lost at the water treatment plant for a short time after the storm passed Friday evening, Board employees as well as Potomac Edison worked diligently to make the necessary repairs.  Power was restored Saturday afternoon allowing us to maintain service and continue providing treated water for all customers.

Again, the Charles Town water system is not under a boil water advisory.  All customers can continue to safely use and drink water normally.
