Off the tee
The Ladies of Sleepy Hollow are welcoming the return of “Bubbly” Carol Winckler on June 14. Carol is a school teacher in Maryland and is an active player for much too short a time.
On May 31, the game played was “Betty’s Choice”, throwing out holes six and 13, minus 100% handicap. Of the ladies playing only nine holes, Lynne Wiseman won with a 47, Amy George was second with a 56 and Brenda Young won putts with 18. Of the ladies playing 18 holes, Peggy Sowers won with a 64, Peggy Glascock was second with a 66 and Dr. Marneerat finished third with a 72. Completing the day was Jean Cowan winning putts with 33.
