Prayer Walk: The Charles Town AGLOW Lighthouse will be taking a ‘prayer walk’ around specific areas in town on Saturday. Join us for prayer and fellowship at 10 a.m. beginning from the parking lot of the Charles Town Presbyterian Church.
Spaghetti dinner: The New Hope Assembly of God Women’s Ministries, 7595 Martinsburg Pike, Shepherdstown, will be hosting a spaghetti dinner on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. The menu will include spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert. A love offering will be accepted. For questions, call 304-876-8340.

Family fun festival: New Destiny Ministry Center, 437 Boarder Road in Kearneysville, will be having their Kingdom Kids Family Fun Festival on June 23 from 1 to 5 p.m. The medieval themed festival will include a medieval village in the back yard, horses, and an amour of God, inflatable’s, games, live music, NDMC Kids Dance team performance, and free food. Hymn sing: Silver Grove United Methodist Church will be having a hymn sing on June 23 starting at 6 p.m. featuring “The Knight Family” and group out of Mt. Airy, Md. Feeding students: The Caring Cupboard, begun in August to provide needy Jefferson County schoolchildren with shelf-stable foods on weekends, operates from the back entryway of Shepherdstown Lutheran Church’s parish house.
The church is seeking food and monetary donations, which may be dropped off at the Parish House, 110 N. King St., 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday to Thursday or mailed to P.O. Box 2008 Shepherdstown, WV 25443.

Free food for the needy: A free soup kitchen will be held at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church, 305 S. Charles St., every third Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. − 1 p.m.
