INWOOD— In the six girls tennis matches the Washington girls played last Thursday against Musselman, the Patriots won them all. The only blip Washington faced was when rain cancelled the No. 4 singles match . . . and the Patriots settled for a 6-0 win that improved their overall record to 19-3.
The three singles matches that were completed saw Washington’s Angela Pittinger (No. 1), Jill Spuria (No. 2), and Melissa Sirbaugh (No. 3) defeat their Musselman counterparrts.
The doubles matches all went Washington’s way when Pittinger/Sirbaugh (No. 1), Spuria/McKenzie Littleton (No. 2), and Amber Barr/Molly Banfield kept the Lady Applemen from winning any of the six matches that were completed.
