SHENANDOAH JUNCTION – There have been no serious injuries in the house fire in Shenandoah Junction.

The fire at a home on 1st Street engulfed large portions of the home for a time. Initial scanner traffic indicated that an individual might have been trapped in the home, but firefighters on the scene say that all residents successfully exited without injuries prior to the arrival of fire crews.

Since there were no pressurized fire hydrants available to fire crews, the fire is being fought using tanker trucks. Trucks from numerous local, out-of-county and out-of-state fire departments arrived at the scene to help fight the blaze.
