All matches won by Washington
INWOOD— Even though the No. 2 doubles match couldn’t be completed because rain caused it to be cancelled, the Washington boys tennis team handily defeated Musselman, 6-0, last Thursday.
Washington improved its overall record to 21-1 with the victory over its Regional rival.
The four singles matches all were won by Washington with Will Wheatley (No. 1), Patrik Haglund (No. 2), Austin Thomas (No. 3), and Alden Roth (No. 4) getting the Patriot victories.
Washington had little trouble in either of the two doubles matches that were completed when Wheatley/Haglund (No. 1) and Cullen Irving/Cory Coomler (No. 3) posted comfortable wins.
