Patriot boys edge Parkersburg, 4-3, in boys tennis match-up
PARKERSBURG— A crucial win at No. 2 doubles by Austin Thomas/Alden Roth was important in Washington’s 4-3 team win over Parkersburg last Thursday.
The Patriots moved their overall record to 9-1 when they defeated Williamstown, 7-0.
Roth (No. 4), Thomas (No. 3), Patrick Haglund (No. 2), and Will Wheatley (No. 1) all posted singles wins over Wiliamstown. Wheatley/Haglund (No. 1), Thomas/Roth (No. 2), and Cullen Irving/Cory Coomler (No. 3) posted wins in the three doubles matches.
